The SHERRY MEDIA offers the unique opportunity to run through the sea of vineyards that surround the city and form part of the Marco de Jerez, participating in a shorter distance modality and enjoying the essence of the Sherry Marato
Description
The SHERRY MEDIA will have a distance of 22 kms, starting on sunday 3 of May at 9:00 in the Alameda Vieja.
The Sherry Media has a walker category for all those participants who want to participate in the race in a less demanding way.
Starting from the city of Jerez, it goes into the heart of the vineyards of the Marco de Jerez, passing through the main vineyard houses and finishing in the city of Jerez, specifically in the Alameda Vieja.

Recommended material
The organisers recommend that SHERRY MARATHON runners carry the following equipment to be able to complete the race:
- Mobile phone with a charged battery.
- Containers and/or watertight bags for liquids: With a minimum total capacity of 1L.
- Sunglasses.
- Sun cream: Total protection.
- Electrolytes and/or mineral salts.
- Food reserve: bars, gels...
- Suitable rucksack: according to the volume of the material and the pace of the race.
Cloakroom
The Organisation will have a cloakroom service where runners can leave their belongings, located in the finish line area in the Alameda Vieja.
The cloakroom will be open from 8:00 to 14:30 on Sunday.
CONSIDERATIONS
Please do not leave valuables in the bags. The organisers cannot be held responsible for the objects handed in.
Showers
Runners will be able to use the showers located in the Vega Veguita Sports Centre.
We recommend checking the weather forecast the days before to choose the material to use
