By registering, participants indicate their acceptance of these regulations.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #ffffff\">These regulations must be strictly adhered to by all participants in the event known as the SHERRY MARATHON. Any issue not covered herein shall be resolved by the SHERRY MARATHON JJP Jury, the Race Director, a member of the Organising Committee and a representative of the a distance of 42 km, taking place between the city of Jerez de la Frontera and the sea of vineyards that surround the city and form part of the Marco de Jerez.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The JJP SHERRY MARATHON will take place on Sunday 18 April 2027 in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, C\u00e1diz.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The race starts at 8.00 am at the Alameda Vieja. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The finish line is situated in the centre of Jerez on the Alameda Vieja and will be open until 2.30 pm. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The SHERRY MEDIA is a less physically demanding version of the SHERRY MARATHON, covering a distance of 22 km between the city of Jerez de la Frontera and the sea of vineyards that surround the city and form part of the Marco de Jerez.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The SHERRY MEDIA will take place on Sunday 18 April 2027 in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, C\u00e1diz.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The race starts at 9.00 am at the Alameda Vieja. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The FINISH LINE is located in the centre of Jerez on the Alameda Vieja and will remain open until 14:30 for runners in the SHERRY MEDIA race.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The SHERRY PROMO will take place on Sunday 18 April 2027 in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, C\u00e1diz.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The race starts at 10.30 am at Macharnudo Castle.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The FINISH LINE is located in the centre of Jerez on the Alameda Vieja and will remain open until 14:30 for runners in the SHERRY elementor-size-default\">Art.3 SPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b93eba7 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b93eba7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The JJP SHERRY MARATHON is held with the utmost respect for the environment.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participants must respect the environment in which the race takes place and keep the surrounding area clean. To this end, they must eat and drink WITHOUT LEAVING ANY PACKAGING OUTSIDE THE BINS provided for this purpose. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS POINT WILL RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE RUNNER, who may be disqualified by a simple statement from any member of the Race Organizing Team.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participants who display violent behaviour or litter in the countryside will be disqualified from the competition. It is compulsory to respect crops, livestock and private property in general.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participants will be responsible for any damage caused as a result of this type of behavior.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is strictly forbidden to receive external assistance or refreshments during the race outside the points provided by the Organization: these will coincide with the official refreshment points of the race.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22ba74c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"22ba74c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20d812c elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"20d812c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.4 PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1c6e57d elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1c6e57d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To take part in the JJP Sherry Marathon, you must be of legal age on the day of the race.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Sherry Half Marathon and Promo race are open to anyone aged 16 or over on the day of the race.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participation will be open to all those who correctly formalize both the REGISTRATION and the payment stipulated for the races.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Registration for the JJP Sherry Marathon implies acceptance of the rules and that the participant is adequately prepared for the race, being fully aware of the geographical and weather conditions that may be encountered in the area where the event takes place. In this regard, the participant indemnifies the Organisation against any health problems that may arise as a result of their participation in the JJP Sherry Marathon.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The runners registered for the race understand that they participate voluntarily and under their own responsibility in the event, and therefore, exonerate the Organization of the race from all responsibility, and agree not to denounce the organizing entity, collaborators, sponsors and other participants; Likewise, it is forbidden to be accompanied by other people who are not registered participants in the race.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At each refreshment point there will be a specific closing time, being an indispensable requirement to pass before the established closing time in order to continue in the race.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each refreshment station will provide food and drink, the selection of which will vary depending on the kilometre at which it is located.
