jjp SHERRY BIKE MARATHON
The JJP SHERRY BIKE combines the personal challenge with the opportunity to discover one of the great cultural and natural heritages of Spain, Jerez de la Frontera and the Marco del Jerez. Cyclists will ride through the most famous avenues, streets and squares of the city of Jerez and the most magical paths and lanes of the vineyards of the Marco del Sherry.
The SHERRY BIKE is designed for everyone, so you can enjoy it with MTB, GRAVEL and E-MTB bikes.
Description
The JJP Sherry Bike Marathon will have a distance of 67,6 kms, starting on Saturday, May 2 at 8:30 am from the Alameda Vieja. The first kilometers are an urban tour through the main streets of the city before entering the sea of vineyards of the Marco del Jerez.
Once immersed in the vineyards, we will take direction to El Puerto de Santa Maria, touring its vineyards to return to Jerez in direction Mesas de Asta touring some of the most representative vineyards of the Marco del Jerez with its characteristic vineyard houses.
Once we arrive at Mesas de Asta, we will return to the finish line crossing new farms and vineyards until we reach Jerez where we will arrive at the Alameda Vieja, where the finish line will be installed.

Recommended Equipment, Cloakroom and Showers
The organization recommends JJP SHERRY BIKE riders to bring the following material to be able to do the race:
- Cell phone with charged battery.
- Containers and/or watertight bags for liquids: With a minimum total capacity of 1L.
- Sunglasses.
- Sunscreen: Total protection.
- Electrolytes and/or mineral salts.
- Food reserve: bars, gels...
- Puncture repair kit
checkroom
The Organization will have a checkroom service where runners can leave their belongings, located at the start/finish area.
Checkroom hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
CONSIDERATIONS
- Please do not leave valuables in the bags. The Organization is not responsible for the objects delivered.
We recommend consulting the weather forecast the days before to choose the material to be used.
